Tall Oil Fatty Acid, also known as liquid rosin or tallol, is commonly referred to as TOFA. This material is in a liquid form and its overall quality is generally determined by an acid number. The Sylfat FA-1 has a light color and a key benefit is that it is economical in costing relative to other tall oil fatty acids. TOFA is used in a wide range of industrial applications including surfactants, cleaners, oil field chemicals, fuel additives and other chemical derivatives.
